Candace was born and raised in Spencer, IA. After graduating from Spencer High School in 1999, she attended Iowa Lakes Community College where she obtained an AA and an AS in Travel and Tourism. At the same time, she was also working for Iowa Great Lakes Aviation. In 2003 she graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a BA in Business Management and a BA in Social Work. After moving back to Spencer and while working full time at Eaton’s, she purchased and remodeled her first home. It was at that time she knew she had a love for real estate. In 2007 she landed a great job with Jacobsen Homes Corporation. There she worked for 11 years as their property manager, managing around 250 properties in the Spencer and surrounding areas. She was always working at perfecting her management skills. With these skills, in March 2018, she and her husband, Travis purchased Northwest Glass LLC in Spencer.
She loves to stay busy and thrives to help people with their needs. She has a vast knowledge of houses, as she designed and drew up the architectural plans, and then helped to build the home they are currently living in. She is never afraid to get her hands dirty.
Candace and Travis have two daughters, Ella and Jada, and a dog named Glazier. Always having an interest in seeing what the world has to offer she loves traveling with her family. The family stays active while enjoying canoeing, camping and softball. During the summer she and Travis coach little league. Since 2016, she had been a board member at Trinity Preschool.
